Triad Commercial was engaged by two private real estate investors to represent a new entity in the identification, acquisition and leasing of large scale distribution facilities in the Piedmont Triad Area. Triad Commercial brokered G-T Gateway's first transaction, a $25.0 million purchase from Highwoods Properties, as well as all subsequent transactions including an $84.0 million merger with South Atlantic Companies and two build-to-suit transactions with Procter and Gamble. The resulting portfolio was 2,500,000 SF.
The G-T Gateway Portfolio was sold to GE Business Real Estate for $108 million in late 2008.
